Preserving has always been a favorite hobby of mine. Starting when I was 9 in 4-H
over the wood cook stove in the kitchen (which is still there - for warm heat in the
winter time only!) I preserved any and everything that we grew on the ranch. 'Tis
Tasty's products are made at the peak of freshness in small batches in our
Oregon state and FDA licensed
kitchen. We bring to you the best taste of Grandma's Kitchen in every jar we
produce. Our jams, jellies, pickles, relishes and other products are made without
preservatives, chemicals or artificial flavorings. We make them just like Grandma used to
make hers. And, the only ingredient not listed on the label is flavor. We put lots of that
and tender loving care in every jar we produce. Friends convinced me fourteen years
ago to put some of my jams, jellies, and pickles on the market and here we are!!! Now over
100 homemade products to choose from. We have added six new Salad Dressings and
Vinaigrettes for you salad lovers.
We use old pioneer recipes and of course all of our family favorites that I grew up
with. A lot of the recipes are my own work of art creations and labor of love!!
All products are "homemade and handmade - the old
fashioned way" - one batch at a time". Each jar
is packed full of TLC. We take pride in doing everything by hand, even the packing
of the jars to ensure quality and excellence in our products for you.
Our products are All
Natural, Tasty and Crunchy of course, as we use no extra water,
additives, flavorings, corn syrup or fillers. Just plain Natural !! We
buy produce at the peak of the season and from small farmers and farmers
markets in the local area. This way we do get the best of the
produce that is available. I have an orchard where I grow our own
apples, cherries, plums and some berries. We pick and process
huckleberries, elderberries, and blackberries that grow wild in our
area. Our spices and
herbs are of the best quality (a lot of the herbs are grown in my garden) and 'Tis
Tasty's Salt-Free Blends are unique and of course tasssty!!!
If you are traveling the southern Oregon coast you can find our products in gift
shops, grocery stores, produce markets, restaurants, lodges and lounges. We also
sponsor two open air Farmer's Markets and Artisan's Craft Fairs in the
summer in downtown Gold Beach, the second and fourth weekends in
August We also sponsor a Crafter's
Holiday Bazaar the first weekend in December at the Event Center on the Beach in Gold
Beach.
